Biogenomics is the biological study of biomes, and the processing of obtained information, such as ecological communities of plants, animals, and soil organisms.
Uses
Biogenomics is part of genomics that encompasses all the biological genetic resources for ecosystems, and habitats.
Biogenomics uses bioinformatics to collectively analyze diverse biome data. A biogenome may contain very large scale genomic information, such as metagenome and pangenome where genomic sequences are mass-produced.
